We have decided to write our newsletters every two months again. Logistically that makes it easier for us doing it that way. Praise the Lord!!!!! He is good all the time!!!
Easter Conference at Damascus Ministries International
EASTER CONFERENCE - “WAKE-UP BRIDE OF CHRIST!”
Praise and Worship – moving right into God’s presence!
The church is fully packed with people, hungry to meet with God.
Dr. Kobus Allen and his translator – Past. Paul – The Word being preached in style!
Our Easter Conference – “Wake-up Bride of Christ!” was a great success! This took place on 2 – 4 April 2010 at Damascus Ministries International in Ladybrand. Our services were on Friday morning, Saturday afternoon (worship service) and on Sunday morning. Our preachers were Dr. Kobus Allen, Past. Hannes van Rooyen, Past. Monyatse and our translator, Past. Paul. People came all the way from Lesotho and also Manyatseng.
The Lord really touched lives over this weekend. The wake-up call to the Bride of Christ is of great importance. If you are part of the church, you will only be a guest. One needs to make a choice to be spotless and unblemished as the bride, to be able to sit at the wedding table. Not all will sit at this table as part of the Bride! We need to be hungry and thirsty for this!
The time of worship was wonderful and people really stepped into the Holy of Holies – into God’s presence.
We are greatful to our Lord and Saviour, our Guest of Honour, Who visited us and met with us on a personal level. Glory be unto God, now and forever more!
Church
We are very involved at the church with all kinds of things at present. It is such a blessing to work alongside people who are spiritually mature and have one goal in mind – JESUS, ALL FOR JESUS!
Bible School
Marina is now fully in charge of the Bible School at church. Also lecturing the second year students on a Tuesday night. Dr. Kobus Allen is still lecturing on a Thursday night. There are new prospects concerning the Bible School. There are people in Ladybrand from other churches that want to be part of the Bible School. This will be explored in the next few weeks and soon these will also be accommodated.
Healing Rooms
Our Healing Room is running well – every Monday night – there are four of us working at present. Our next training is coming up on 30 April – 1 May 2010 in Ladybrand and our Lesotho training will take place in Lesotho at Burning Bush Ministries on 14 – 15 May 2010. Things are happening!
Camps
Camps are still happening as bookings come in. The Lord is really working with our young folk.
Building
We are building! The foundation and floor is almost finished! Unfortunately, we cannot include pictures yet! Thank you so much for all the finances and support that makes this project possible. God is really in control of this one!
Prayer requests and answered prayer
Please pray with and for us and stand in agreement for the following:
- Reliable income of R3000-00 per month – this and some other finances has been coming in regularly, thank the Lord for that! This makes our task so much lighter!!!
- A Bakkie with canopy and tow bar – very urgent!
- Small projector
- Camps coming up
- Enough financing for us to finish our little house
- Bertus – his left foot has made an ulcer again – we have found bandages and the foot is healing very quickly this time, thank the Lord!
- Past. Bertus celebrated his birthday on 1 April 2010. Thank you for all the telephone calls and wishes that came in. We are also very delighted that the Lord spared him another year and pray God’s richest blessings for the next year ahead. We trust that God will give him the desires of his heart.
