April & May 2010 Newsletter

“And the Lord utters His voice before His army, for His host is very great, and [they are] strong and powerful who execute [God’s] Word. ” Joel 2:11

Another two months have passed! We trust that you have had a good time in the presence of the Lord, as we did!

Church Name Change
Damascus Ministries International has gone through a period of change. This ministry has now taken hands with One Life and will now be known as One Life Family Church. The head of this international ministry is Pastor Graeme Weber. Head office is situated in America and the office for South Africa is in Umhlanga Rocks. Dr. Kobus Allen and his family will be moving to Umhlanga Rocks at the end of the year, as he will now head up the School of World Missions in Kwazulu Natal. Pastor Kolie Bolleurs will now pastor our own congregation in Ladybrand. Nothing has really changed, except for the name and the successor to take over. Our Bible School will also resort under School of World Missions.

February & March 2010 Newsletter

“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but [a famine] for hearing the words of the Lord.” Amos 8:11.

We have decided to write our newsletters every two months again. Logistically that makes it easier for us doing it that way. Praise the Lord!!!!! He is good all the time!!!

“Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request.” 1 Chronicles 4:10

May this be the sincere prayer of our hearts in this time. May God grant us that we should be a living testimony in this upcoming holiday and festive season.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: This newsletter will be the last for this year. The next will be sent out at the end of January 2010.
